A very special pair of my late mother’s hideous corduroy overalls. She absolutely rocked them. I wanted, no, I needed accessories using that fabric so I could have her with me. I hunted. I found no one. I fixed that.

The rest is history!

I feel you. I know how scary it can be sending your personal items (clothing, offcuts, anything fabric) away.

The process is simple. I will step you through every single part.

Your treasured goods are handled with the same amount of care as if they were my own. I really do get just what this means, and that passing them to me might be the first time they have been out of your hands. Please be comforted in the knowledge that every single piece of your fabric is returned. I only need the smallest of sections. I care for your wares with the utmost love and integrity.

Your Love for Life Journey

Choose your beautiful garment or fabric you want created into your Love for Life keepsakes

Find the Love for Life products you can’t live without, for you and/or your loved ones. If you need some inspiration, scroll or head here to see just what they look like on

Step 3

Place your order online. You can pay at checkout using PayPal, Stripe, or Bank Transfer

Step 4

Instructions will be emailed on how to get your fabric to Love for Lobes via postage or hand delivered to Gawler, South Australia

Step 5

Once I receive your precious fabric, I will get to work on creating your Love for Life. This can take 2-6 weeks, depending on my workload. You’ll receive a sneak peak, unless you tell me in the notes you want a surprise

Step 6

Your Love for Life is posted using Australia Post – Express Post, with tracking & insurance, including all remaining fabric. For pick up, you will receive an email to collect at a mutually agreed time and date from Gawler, South Australia

Your lovingly handcrafted Love for Life product is presented in a beautifully bespoke timber keepsake box, made by Barossa Enterprises. Every piece of fabric is returned to you.

Express Shipped to you, including tracking and insurance, because I know how important your products and memories are, or local pick up from Gawler South, South Australia.

If you order multiple Love for Life products using the same fabric, a discount automatically applies after the first item, when purchased at the same time.

Of all the accessory options in all the towns in all the world, how did fabric walk into mine? Great question, you inquisitive minx!

In a nutshell, I had a need. I solved a problem. ​

A craving for handcrafted jewellery using fabric from my fabulous late mother’s overalls. She died when I was 22. We don’t shy away from emotions or connection here. ​

When I couldn’t find anywhere else with my vision, I thought, ‘Who better than me?’ I know first hand & heart just how much these mean.

My business baby, Love for Lobes®️, was born in February 2020. Leaving the security of my full time government job after having 2 kidlets was one of the boldest leaps I’ve made.And I’ve made a few.

But, this wasn’t my first jewellery rodeo, Dr Phil. I’d been whipping up funky masterpieces since I was a teenager. A lazy 25 years experience. So, clearly, I’m 23! ​

‘After my Mum passed, when I was 19, our hearts were broken. A little while went by and one day we were going through her things. Being the only daughter, my Dad handed me Mums wedding dress in a box. For years, I had it stored away until it came time for me to find a way to gain some keepsakes from the dress for my brothers and family. I had asked a question on social media to whether anyone knew or could recommend someone who could create a gift that could include the material from my Mother’s Wedding Dress. Sarah approached the post and shared her business, saying she could make all sorts of things. The thing that made me choose Sarah was the personal experience and having someone else who could understand and in fact, what Love for Lobes is all about and how it came about. It was also how much she was willing to help me make my wish come true. My younger brother had his wedding coming up, and Sarah was able to create an amazing set of cuff links for my brother to wear on his wedding day. I also asked if she could create a pair of earrings for my soon to be sister in law as a keepsake of her late Mother in law. Making my wish of having a keepsake made from this special material meant the absolute world to me and my family. I will be ordering more keepsakes using the same material in the near future. I couldn’t have asked for anything more suited.
